POST 2: In The Beginning

In the beginning there was nothing (Genesis 1:1). That is the way I have to start this blog. It is a Monday and as you all know, everyone hates Mondays. But in reality, people don't like to get up early in the morning to do work. Monday is just the "unlucky guy" who people hate for all these reasons. I personally love Mondays; they are the best time to get started on your week with a bang.

With that pleasant note, I will start this blog. DATE: MONDAY 23/06/2014. I had a great day today. I started the day with a mock trial that my old teacher does every year. They got me to be the jury with my friend. We had a good time watching from the side and looking professional, then later making a decision.

Later, during last recess, we got together with the mentoring program of our school where members get a younger student to mentor and tutor. We got freezies for doing a good job of mentoring over the year. The kids who didn't get them (ones who forgot about the meeting or thought the meeting would be boring or those who were not with the program at all) asked about the freezies we had and tried to take them. We hid the freezies and hoped the people wouldn't pester us about them.

At the end of the day I sat down at home alone (my brother and mom where out at doctors). I poured a cup of milk, made myself a sandwich and watched some TV (specifically Hogans Heroes, a great show for all those history fans). I like milk a lot. My version of PB&N (peanut butter and nutella ) is delicious. Especially on Mondays.

I had fun today, I hope this proves that Mondays are good, too. Tomorrow is the teacher student soccer game and the talent show. I am looking forward to those events they are always exciting (like Mondays?). As the week plays out, being the last week of school before summer, I hope to update about the end of the year festivities soon.

For now enjoy this paradox perplexer: This next sentence is True! The last sentence was false (found at http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paradox)

-Good luck friends, FBJ (Fr\iendly Blogger John)

P.S Did you  get that I was trying to say that Mondays are good. Look again, try to find it. It is very subtle, so it may be hard to find -FBJ
